Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ali El-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, the 10th Annual Scientific Conference of the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and Molecular Imaging at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, kicks off today.

The conference is held under the presidency of Prof. Mohamed Abou El-Hoda as Conference President, Prof. Amany Rashad, Head of the Department, and Prof. Gamal Niazy as Conference Coordinator.

Spanning two days, September 29th and 30th, the conference features a comprehensive scientific program including numerous lectures and workshops covering various specialties in medical imaging and interventional radiology. It also highlights the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the medical field, particularly in diagnostic and interventional radiology.

Specialized workshops will be held on ultrasound imaging, interventional radiology, and the applications of AI in radiological practices.

The conference hosts a distinguished group of professors from Ain Shams University as well as experts from other Egyptian universities and educational institutions.
