Today… Khan Al-Zaffran at Ain Shams University

The Ain Shams University Alumni Association is preparing to launch a special Ramadan evening entitled “Khan Al-Zaffran” at the university’s main campus, starting March 21, 2024, corresponding to Ramadan 11, 1445.

The Ramadan evening is held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, under the general supervision of Prof. Shahira Samir - Executive Director of the International Collaboration Sector, supervised and organized by Prof. Reem Al-Kabariti, Director of the University’s Alumni Relations Department.

The Ramadan evening is held in a historical and oriental atmosphere, inspired by the atmosphere of Al-Muizz Street. Ramadan evenings include a variety of activities and events from nine in the evening until one in the middle of the night.

Visitors to Khan Al-Zaffran can enjoy the Khan Bazaar and a Ramadan suhoor of the most delicious oriental dishes and the tunes of the Eastern Takht and the Harmony Araby Choir led by Maestro Mahmoud Wahid, in addition to enjoying Tanoura shows, in addition to the opportunity to enjoy photo sessions with famous Ramadan figures in the distinctive courtyard of the main campus and next to the Zaffran Palace.

It is worth noting that Khan Al-Zaffran opens its doors to receive university graduates, in addition to university employees, faculty staff, teaching assistants, and administrators.
