Within the framework of the efforts of the Alliance of Universities in the Greater Cairo Region to serve the community and develop the environment, and in accordance with the plan to launch a number of comprehensive development convoys in which the efforts of the Alliance universities are combined to various areas most in need over a period of five days during the month of March 2024, the Alliance is organizing the first comprehensive development convoys for the New Duwayka neighborhood, Monshaa Nasser, organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at Ain Shams University, with representation from the alliance universities: Cairo, Helwan, Al-Azhar and Banha, on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 9 am to 3 pm at the Medical Center.

This is under the patronage of Major General Khaled Abdel-Al, Governor of Cairo, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, Prof. Heba Adel, Vice Dean of the Faculty Girls, and coordinated by Prof. Gehan Ragab, Advisor to the Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Major General Hossam El-Sherbiny, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

A number of faculties from Ain Shams University participate in providing the convoy services, including: medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, girls and archeology, with representation from the universities of Cairo, Helwan, Al-Azhar and Banha.
