Next Sunday... The Third International Conference of the Faculty of Pharmacy

Under the patronage of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health, Prof. Tamer Mohamed Essam, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Medicine Authority, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein Al-Abidin, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada. Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, The Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Amani Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, is organizing its third international conference, which will be held over the course of two days, November 19 and 20, 2023 under the title “Sustainability and Innovation in Pharmaceutical Research and the Pharmaceutical Industry”

The conference discusses the latest developments and advances in the pharmaceutical fields in conjunction with current events, current trends in cosmetics and nanotechnology, new approaches in cell and gene therapy, computer-aided drug discovery, development and design, functional foods, nutritional supplements and nutraceuticals, drug repurposing, and the magic weapon against a variety of medical disorders and new approaches to infection control.

An elite group of professors and deans of faculties in Egypt, the Arab world, America, England, Germany, and Japan will lecture at the conference.

Faculty staff and graduate students from various public, private and private universities will participate in attending the conference and presenting research.

The conference also allocates an award for the best research poster, and summaries of the research presented are published as a poster in a special issue of the conference in the Faculty's International Journal.

At the end of the conference, an employment fair and an exhibition on pharmaceutical preparations will be held.
