The President of the University congratulates the Faculty of Engineering racing team for winning advanced positions in the Student Formula competition

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, congratulates the racing team of the Faculty of Engineering, at Ain Shams University, for winning first place in the field of designing electric racing cars in the Formula Student competition, which was held at the Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom.

The team achieved third place in the world in managing the business and marketing of a self-driving racing car model, fifth place in the world in the fields of (business management and marketing of the electric racing car model, static tests for self-driving racing cars, studying the costs and methods of manufacturing electric racing cars), and eleventh place in the study of the costs and methods of manufacturing racing cars with internal combustion engines, and the seventeenth place in their design.

His Excellency also thanked Prof. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Head of the Automotive Department and team supervisor for the effort to raise the name of Ain Shams University in all international forums.

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini confirmed that a special honor will be given to the team upon his arrival.
