The twenty-sixth of February... The launch of the comprehensive development convoy for Ain Shams University in the Red Sea Governorate

Within the framework of the societal role of Ain Shams University to provide its services, believing in the importance of community participation, the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector, in cooperation with the Red Sea Governorate and the Southern Military Region, is organizing a comprehensive development convoy for the people of the cities of Halayeb, Shalateen and Abu Ramad, from February 26 to March 2, 2023 under the auspices of Major General Amr Hanafi, Governor of the Red Sea, and Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community and Environmental Affairs, and Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.

The activities of the convoy will be launched under the general supervision of Prof. Hala Samir Sweid, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community and Environmental Affairs, and Prof. Tariq Youssef, Executive Director of University Hospitals and supervision of Mr. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environment Affairs.

The activities of the convoy include providing free services through clinics in various specialties such as ophthalmology, dental, internal medicine, endoscopy, nose, ear, bones, skin, children and women, heart, chest, anesthesia, radiology, dental, speech, general surgery, minor operations, and urinary tract, the treatment is also dispensed free of charge through the convoy pharmacy, in addition to laboratory analyzes, in addition to literacy and awareness campaigns for the parents, in cooperation with the faculties of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood at Ain Shams University. Food supplies are also distributed to citizens.
