The 8th conference of Ain Shams University discusses the quality and accreditation of Egyptian universities

The third and final day of the eighth conference of Ain Shams University witnessed a session entitled "Quality and Accreditation". It is headed by Prof. Dr. Rasha Khafagi, Director of Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at Ain Shams University, reviewed the experience of Ain Shams University in the international classification and its progress with a number of international classifications, and noted that many of the faculties of the university have been accredited and focused on the need to follow the local and international accreditation standards to achieve universality.

The session also included two lectures on the road map to obtain accreditation and the international gap between its requirements and the requirements of local accreditation. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ghanem Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Banha presented the lecture.

The second session focused on program accreditation and the mechanism for regulating the relationship between quality units and academic departments in light of the quality requirements of the programs. Prof. Dr. Saad Mahmoud Saad Director of Quality Assurance Center at Banha University presented this lecture.
