Ain Shams University participates in the First Afro-Arab Agricultural Conference

As part of Ain Shams University’s commitment to supporting student activities and enhancing its regional and international role, and under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of the University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Agriculture, in cooperation with the University’s Education and Student Affairs sector, is participating in the first Afro-Arab agricultural course, scheduled to be held at Cairo University from January 28 to February 5, 2026.

The faculty's participation comes under the supervision of Prof. Walaa Mohamed Abdel Ghani El-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty, and with administrative oversight and coordination from Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs. The faculty's delegation comprises 60 participants, including 52 male and female students from various student activities (sports, cultural, artistic, social, scouting, and scientific), in addition to the student welfare supervisors.

In this context, Prof. Walaa Mohamed Abdel Ghani El-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, accompanied by Prof. Mona Zayed, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies, and Prof. Manal Mubarak, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, followed up on the final preparations for the faculty's participating delegation and held an extensive meeting with the delegation members in the faculty's conference hall.

During the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty urged the students to do their utmost to raise the name of the Faculty of Agriculture and Ain Shams University high, praising the spirit of commitment and discipline that the faculty students possess, and stressing the importance of representing the university in an honorable manner that reflects its academic standing and pioneering role.

His Excellency also expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the University President for his support, which directly contributed to the success of the participation arrangements. He emphasized that this support reflects the University leadership's commitment to developing students' skills and enhancing their participation in scientific and cultural events at both the local and international levels.
