As part of its ongoing commitment to celebrating the success stories of its alumni, the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University (English Section) announced the honoring of alumnus Mohamed Tarek Amin, Class of 2022, in recognition of his exceptional academic excellence and his attainment of a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Law at the prestigious Queen Mary University of London in the United Kingdom, with an overall grade of “Merit”, for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Prof. Dr. Yassin El-Shazly, Dean of the Faculty of Law, received the alumnus at his office to extend his congratulations and present him with the Faculty’s Shield of Honor on earning a Master of Laws (LLM) in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Ahmed Khalifa, Director of the Faculty’s International Cooperation Office, and Prof. Rashad Abu El-Enin, Head of the Faculty Alumni Association.
This achievement represents one of the direct outcomes of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2023 between the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University and Queen Mary University of London. The agreement provides a dedicated and exclusive pathway for graduates of the English Section to pursue postgraduate studies at the British university, along with tuition fee reductions, thereby opening broad international horizons for Egyptian students.
The faculty administration stated that this distinguished success embodies the mission of the English Section in preparing a new generation of legal professionals capable of competing in the global labor market and contributing effectively to international academic research.
Dr. Yassin El-Shazly further emphasized that Mohamed Tarek Amin serves as an exemplary model of ambition and perseverance, affirming that the faculty will always remain a bridge connecting its students to the world’s leading academic institutions.
