Training Activities at the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, to Prepare Youth for the Job Market and Introduce the Faculty’s iClub Activities

As part of Ain Shams University’s commitment to empowering its students and preparing them for the job market, iClub Agricultural ASU, the Innovation Club at the Faculty of Agriculture, organized a series of training activities aimed at introducing students to the club’s programs and developing the skills required to compete in both local and international labor markets. These activities align with the university’s vision to support innovation and entrepreneurship.

The events were held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Walaa Abdelghani El-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty, and were attended by the faculty’s deans.

The activities were supervised by Prof. Lamia Mostafa Radwan, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club at the Faculty; Dr. Mohamed Magdy, Academic Supervisor of the Club; and Dr. Islam Adly, Coordinator of Student Activities and Innovation & Entrepreneurship Clubs.

In addition, committee heads from iClub Season 7 participated in organizing and leading the training sessions, reflecting the students’ leadership and sense of responsibility and ensuring the event was successful and impactful.

Prof. Walaa Abdelghani El-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty, emphasized the importance of supporting and equipping students to meet the changing demands of the job market. He noted that the training activities organized by iClub Agricultural ASU reflect the faculty’s vision of promoting innovation and supporting entrepreneurship within the student community. He also highlighted that these programs help refine students’ practical skills and enhance their abilities in innovation and problem-solving.

In his opening remarks, Prof. Ahmed Abu El-Yazid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, stressed the importance of fostering teamwork and entrepreneurial culture among students and encouraging them to launch projects that serve the agricultural sector. He added that the event reflects iClub Agricultural ASU’s commitment to supporting Faculty of Agriculture students, developing their practical skills, and providing an integrated learning environment that combines academic and professional expertise to prepare a generation capable of competing in the job market.

The event featured a series of discussion sessions and workshops led by Faculty of Agriculture alumni, who shared their professional experiences. Topics included funding graduation projects, transitioning from university to the job market, applying scientific research in industry, the role of student activities in developing competencies, project management, communication and presentation skills, content creation, logistical organization, finding job opportunities in the agricultural sector, and the fundamentals of business management.
