Ain Shams University President Attends Opening of " One Hand Builds, the Other Defends" Exhibition Organized by the University's Education and Student Affairs Sector

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, inaugurated the exhibition commemorating the October War victory, titled “One Hand Builds, the Other Defends,” held in front of the historic Al-Zafaran Palace. The exhibition marks the beginning of the university's celebrations in honor of the October 6 victory, which coincides with the 10th of Ramadan, 1973.

The event was organized by the Education and Student Affairs Sector and the Students for Egypt family, in collaboration with the university's Military Education Department, under the supervision of Colonel Abou El-Hassan Abdel-Moneim, Director of the Military Education Department and representative of the Popular and Military Defense Administration and the Armed Forces.

The exhibition was attended by several faculty vice-deans, university officials, and leaders of Students for Egypt from across the university. Hundreds of students participated from Students for Egypt, along with members of the Ain Shams University Student Union, including representatives from various committees such as arts, scouts, and public service.

Starting on October 7, the exhibition will run for two days. During the opening, the University President, accompanied by faculty members and administrative staff, toured the exhibition wings and viewed the murals created by talented students from Students for Egypt and the Student Union.

The event was carried out under the administrative supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Said Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector, and Dr. Samar Ragab, Faculty Advisor of Students for Egypt at Ain Shams University. It was executed by the General Administration of Youth Welfare in a collective effort to honor the memory of the 6th of October.

It is worth noting that the Education and Student Affairs Sector is preparing to organize a series of events throughout the month, both centrally and across various faculties, as part of the University President’s vision and directive to enhance student engagement in national occasions through extracurricular activities that foster patriotism and loyalty to our beloved Egypt.
