The Knowledge Cup Competition at the Faculty of Girls

Within the framework of Ain Shams University’s keenness to develop student awareness and spread culture in all its branches, the activities of the second day of the Knowledge Cup competition at the Faculty of Girls, Ain Shams University, continued, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein Al-Abedeen, President of the University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service Affairs. And environmental development, and headed by Prof. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, and Prof. Asmaa Zaa’za, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs.

In the presence of the judging committee consisting of Prof. Fairouz Hassan, professor in the Department of Geography and the general official in charge of student activities at the faculty, Dr. Amira Tarek, lecturer of history and Islamic civilization, and Ms. Ghada Moussa, director of youth care at the faculty, under the supervision of Dr. Sharbat Ahmed, responsible for the Scientific Committee for Youth Welfare at the faculty.

The competition aims to highlight the concept of fair competition, exploit students’ free time to obtain useful information, and develop students’ cultural and intellectual awareness to create a generation with strong thinking and a comprehensive outlook that will be a source of pride for the employees of the prestigious Ain Shams University.

Ten female students who were promoted from the previous day participated in this day, four female students and one reserve student were promoted, and four female students were promoted to the first stage qualifiers at the university level to participate in the Knowledge Cup at the university level.
