Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein Al-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, opened the “University President’s Cup” activities, organized by the Sports Committee of the Ain Shams University Student Union under the administrative supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary for Education and Student Affairs.

The President of Ain Shams University addressed an enthusiastic speech to the students in which he urged them to achieve a balance between practicing sports and performing their academic duties in order to get the most benefit from their presence on the university grounds. His Excellency also pointed out the importance of these sporting activities because they open areas for acquaintance and cooperation between different colleges and the discovery of talents. that students enjoy.

The activities began with the opening match between the Faculties of Business and Pharmacy, for which Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain Al-Abedeen kicked the opening kick. The activities continued with matches of the Faculty of Computer vs. the Faculty of Nursing, The university Dormitory vs. the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Medicine x the Faculty of Al-Alsun.

The 11th football tournament will be held from the 15th to the 22nd of February at the University Dorm Stadium, and the University Faculties Championship in PlayStation electronic games will be held from the 20th to the 21st of this February, in coordination of Mr. Tarek Ahmed, Acting Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, and Mr. Mohamed Hassan, Director of Sports Activity Department.
