Opening of the Vascular Surgery Department at the Heart, Thoracic and Vascular Diseases and Surgery Hospital at Ain Shams University after its development

The Department of Vascular Surgery was opened at the Hospital for Cardiovascular Diseases and Surgery, after the completion of its development work, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ain Shams University Hospitals, and Prof. Tarek Youssef, Executive Director of Ain Shams University Hospitals.

The development included the entire operating room and the development of its equipment, the catheterization room, where the catheterization device was modernized, and the development of the internal department, which includes 17 beds and several intensive care beds, enabling the Cardiovascular Diseases and Surgery Hospital to provide integrated medical service to patients through Interventional catheterization and surgical procedures.

On the other hand, the first department council for vascular surgery faculty staff was held, headed by Prof. Ayman Abdel Fattah, Head of the Vascular Surgery Department.
