The Faculty of Nursing hosts the Children's University

Under the patronage of Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Shahira Samir Zaki, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector, and the presence and supervision of Dr. Noha Al-Rafei, Deputy Director of Grants and Projects Department and Coordinator of the Children's University at the university, the Faculty of Nursing at Ain Shams University received 70 students from the Children's University headed by Prof. Sahar Mousa, Dean of the Faculty and Coordinator of the Children's University Program, within the framework of the activities carried out by the Children's University at the university to increase the development of children's abilities and early discovery of their skills in various fields.

During the visit, Prof. Sahar Mousa and Prof. Hayam Refaat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, welcomed the faculty staff and children, and gave an introductory lecture about the faculty and another about precautionary measures and first aid for various injuries and their importance to students, and the role of the paramedic in how to transfer the injured to the nearest hospital or equipped unit, as well as how to deal with cases of bleeding and fractures and artificial respiration, and how to face critical cases, and the children applied this practically on models and educational puppets in the faculty laboratories by Dr. Hala Muhammad, Director of the Technical Institute, and Prof. Ferial Fouad, Professor, Department of Community Health Nursing.

In order to ensure the safety of the children, follow up on the implementation of the program, and facilitate any difficulties facing the college coordinators, the grants and projects management team received the children in the morning at the auditorium of the Faculty of Science, which is the permanent meeting point, and then took them to the Faculty of Nursing by Ain Shams University buses, and after the end of the school day, they were returned to the meeting place in the Faculty of Science, so that the parents received their children in safety and peace.
