Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of Ain Shams University, receives the second place shield for the best environmentally friendly university

Ain Shams University won the second place in the competition of the best environmentally friendly university, where Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of Ain Shams University, received the second place shield during the meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities in the Administrative Capital on the sidelines of the meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities, in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Yasmeen Fouad, Minister of Environment and Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Prof. Mostafa Refaat, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities.

While receiving the second place award, Prof. Ghada Farouk thanked the team work of Ain Shams University, which made tireless efforts during the previous presidency of Prof. Mahmoud El-Metini to the university, where the university has paid great attention to the environment and all sustainability requirements such as smart green projects, waste recycling, rationalization of energy and water consumption, as well as climate issues.
