The Council of the Faculty of Pharmacy honors the President of Ain Shams University and the deputies

The Council of the Faculty of Pharmacy honored Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and the deputies, for their efforts and achievements during the previous period, in the presence of Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Amani Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Prof. Khaled Abu Shanab, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Rehab Othman, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, prof. Rola Milad, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

         
   
         

And Prof. Amani Kamel reviewed the achievements of the Faculty of Pharmacy at all levels, despite the challenges, from developing the educational process and obtaining a certificate of quality assurance of education and accreditation under the leadership of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University and the deputies, and their permanent and continuous cooperation to achieve better results.

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini initiated his speech by praising the Faculty of Pharmacy and the support it deserves, with distinguished leadership and tireless effort headed by Prof. Amani Kamel, her status and leadership alongside the Faculty of Medicine and Engineering, and her participation in working together, pointing to the importance of the role of civil society institutions to obtain tangible results in the field of scientific research and industry.

         
   
         

His Excellency talked about international publishing and an appreciation for their efforts financially and morally, which is an investment in people, explaining the importance of applied scientific research with reference to the role of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Ain Shams University in helping researchers to implement the patent, in the presence of Prof. Mohie Hafez, a member of the Senate and President of the Chamber of Medicines Industry, Prof. Nahed Mortada, former dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Professor of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Khaled Abu Zaid, Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and former Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Abdel Nasser Sengab, former vice president of the university, and Prof. Sherweit El-Ahmady, Director of the International Students and Mobility Office at the University.

Among the honoring, Dr. Khaled Abu Zeid was honored for receiving the University Appreciation Award in the field of medical sciences, and Dr. Esther Tharwat, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceuticals and Toxicology, at the Faculty of Pharmacy, at Ain Shams University, was honored for winning the University’s encouragement award in the field of medical sciences.
