The President of Ain Shams University discusses ways of enhancing cooperation with the Sawiris Foundation for Development

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, received Ms. Noura Selim, Executive Director of the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development Ms. Heba Iskandar, Director of Development Programs at the Sawiris Foundation for Sustainable Development, in the presence of Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Prof. Ahmed Al-Sabbagh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Education and Student Affairs.

The meeting dealt with following up on the procedures for implementing and developing the cooperation agreement with the Sawiris Foundation and discussing the development of ways of cooperation between Ain Shams University and the University of Pennsylvania in scientific research projects at the level of faculty staff and topics of common interest, as well as discussing ways to ensure students’ association with the mother university academically and research.

This meeting comes within the framework of the cooperation and support of the Sawiris Foundation for Development to send students of the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University on scholarships offered by the Foundation to the Faculty of Engineering, at the University of Pennsylvania, USA.

The meeting was followed by an inspection tour of the Zaffran Museum
