The Turkish Cultural Day at the Faculty of Al-Alsun

The Department of Islamic Oriental Languages, Turkish Language Division, organized the activities of the Cultural Day in the Turkish Language Division, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdel Aal, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and in the presence of Abdul Moati Saleh, Professor of Arabic Language and former Vice Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr.. Manal Rizk, and Dr. Mohamed Abdel Ghani and Dr. Heba Kenawy, Prof. Dr. Heba Salah, Head of the Department of Islamic Oriental Languages ​​at the Faculty, and a group of faculty members, the supporting staff and students of the Faculty.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Moati Saleh, during his speech tackled the importance of translation, the talk also touched on the history of the Faculty of Al-Alsun and why it was called by that name, and the importance of learning three languages ​​in the Faculty and not only mastering the language, but it is very important and necessary to know the history and culture of the language being taught.

As pointed out by Dr. Abdul Moati stressed the importance of gaining experience and self-development in order to be able to deal with the requirements of the labor market.

Subsequently, the announcement of Dr. Heba Salah started the activities of the Cultural Day. The day began with a play written and performed by the students of the four teams in Turkish, followed by a summary of the idea of ​​the play in Arabic, and then the sequences of presentations of poetry, singing, short stories, and cultural and historical competitions about Turkey.

The student guide of the Turkish Language Division, Dr. Heba Kenawy announced some of the cultural activities that the Turkish Language Division carried out in the recent period. 6 stories written in Arabic and being translated into Turkish. Student Muhammad Nashaat presented a summary of these stories that were written.

The activities of the cultural day concluded with the delivery of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad shielded the electronic magazine for some students of the Turkish Language Division and a number of faculty staff, and Dr. Nasser, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, handed over certificates of appreciation to the first batches and participants in the cultural day.
