Climate Change and the Green Universities Agenda for COP27" Annual Conference of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research

In the context of preparations for Egypt’s hosting of the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change “COP 27” and the National Climate Change Strategy in Egypt 2050, the College of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research is organizing its annual conference to be held online from 21-23 September 2022 under the title “Climate Changes” and Green Universities Agenda for COP27"

The conference is held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Matini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Affairs and Development, Prof. Dr. Noha Samir Donia, Dean of the College and President of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Reham Refaat Muhammad, Vice Dean for Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Alaa Sarhan, Vice Dean for Community and Environmental Affairs.

The conference aims to identify the social and psychological impacts of climate change, develop a sense of climate change issues through formal and informal educational institutions, apply modern techniques to address climate change, as well as devise new methods for mitigating and adapting to climate change issues and calculating the costs of environmental degradation resulting from climate change. In addition to analyzing the relationship between the spread of some diseases and climate change.
