The Closing of the 53rd and 41st scouting session within the reception festival for the new academic year

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, concluded the activities of the delegation course (the 53rd scout and the 41st guiding) for the university’s roving and itinerant, which was organized by the Committee on Roaming and Public Service in the General Administration of Youth Welfare University in the period from 17:24 of this September on the roving land of Ain Shams University, Faculty Agriculture, in coordination with a. Dr.. Ahmed Galal, Dean of the College of Agriculture and Prof. Dr. Hisham Al-Hariri, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Education and Student Affairs.

Where the closing ceremony was held, in which 11 delegations from the university’s faculties participated in scouting and guiding songs, and 9 delegations won the first level in the fields of competition, which are the “scouting field, the technical, religious, cultural, sports field, the field of spirit, appearance and the scientific field, and the faculties of Specific Education and Medicine received the participation shield.

     
 
     

In order to achieve the sustainable development goals, the course activities included a Nile cruise at a guard club for marine scouts to raise awareness about the dangers of plastic and a campaign to clean the Nile, as well as cultural competitions that included (flat magazine, art poster, presentation skills).

A forum for the university's roving and roving was also held under the title (Climate Changes and the Efforts of the Rangers to Confront them), and the first conference of leaders of the roving clans at the university, which aims at how to achieve the goals of sustainable development through scouting curricula, and to achieve the goal of (consumption and production), a waste recycling workshop was held to benefit from it again.

     
 
     

Several religious competitions were also held, followed by a technical workshop, in which 7 of the runners and the delegations of the university faculties competed; To design the best pieces of art to develop their creative skills and help encourage young people to preserve handicrafts and instill the value and importance of medium, small, and micro enterprises in line with the sustainable development goals.

It is worth mentioning that the 53rd Scouting Session is attended by 11 faculties of the university, namely: (Nursing - Girls - Medicine - Specific Education - Agriculture - Education - Engineering - Science - Arts - Law - Commerce), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hamdi Moussa, advisor to the University's roving committee, and Mr. Reham Mohamed Al-Otifi, Acting University Secretary for Education and Student Affairs, and a. Muhammad Sharkawy, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, and Mr. Asmaa Ali Khater, Director of Mobile Administration at the university.
