Ain Shams University celebrates Earth Day to raise awareness of the importance of preserving the environment

The Community Service Affairs Sector at the University organizes events on April 20-21 which aim to raise awareness of the importance of preserving the environment, activate the university’s role in preserving the environment, and raise the level of social responsibility

Coinciding with the International Earth Day April 22, 2022, the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at the university organizes events on Wednesday and Thursday 20-21 April, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President of Community Service Affairs and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Graduate Studies and Research, and coordinated by Prof. Dr. Jihan Ragab, Professor of Marketing at the Faculty of Business and advisor to the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, under the supervision of Mr. Suhail Hamza Amin General University Assistant Sector.

The events, which are held with the participation of students from a family “for Egypt”, aim to raise awareness of the importance of preserving the environment, activating the university’s role in preserving the environment, raising the level of social responsibility in the university community, and contributing to reducing environmental pollution.
