The closing of the events of the Ain Shams University conference and its role in the Egyptian and Arab society

The Middle East Research and Future Studies Center held, at the headquarters of the Network and Information Technology Center, on Thursday, March 31, the activities of the second and final day of the conference "Ain Shams University and its Role in Egyptian-Arab Societies 1950-2020" as part of the university's celebrations of the seventy years of its establishment.

The second day was started by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mounis, Director of the Center and General Rapporteur of the Conference, who welcomed the attendees. Then the activities of the third session began, entitled “Examples of Pioneers and Media at the University,” headed by Professor Mohamed El-Sayed Eid, the great journalist writer and with the participation of a number of university professors and professors who reviewed the honorable history and the prominent role of the University. In the academic field and the contributions of a number of university pioneers and graduates in various fields.

At the end of the third session, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Munis presented honorary certificates to the participants in appreciation of their fruitful efforts.

After the end of the third session, the activities of the fourth and final session began under the title "The University and the National Issues" headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Hamid Hussein, Dean of the Higher Institute of Islamic Studies.

A group of university professors, thinkers and researchers participated in the session, who shed light through their research on the prominent role that the university has played since its inception until the present day, whether in the scientific and academic fields or in various political, social and economic fields and the developments and great achievements it has achieved.

The fourth session was attended by Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Affairs and Environmental Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center, where he commended the distinguished research presented by the participants and the tangible effort exerted by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mouns and all the staff of the Center for the success of this conference and to present an honorable and bright image of the history and the present The prestigious Ain Shams University, which occupies the highest international ranks at the level of universities in the world, and even won first place in the UNESCO classification of universities, outperforming 172 countries, which came through the great effort and deep sincerity of all those in charge of it, whether from within it or at the level of the Egyptian government. At the end of his speech, Dr. Tamraz thanked once again the organizers and participants in the conference and expressed his hope that it would produce a set of important and useful recommendations that are in the interest of the university and our beloved Egypt.

After the end of Dr. Tamraz's speech, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Monis confirmed that the conference had already come out with important and useful recommendations, and he will deliver them at the closing ceremony this evening at the university. Then, he presented certificates of honor to the participants in the fourth and final session of our conference.
