The Minister of Youth and Sports discusses a PhD thesis at the Faculty of Business

The Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University, was honored to host His Excellency the Minister, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and in the presence of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, to discuss a professional doctoral thesis DBA.

Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadri, Dean of the Faculty, expressed his happiness at the Minister’s response to the invitation, which enriched the discussion, as well as his thanks to the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini to receive His Excellency and welcome His Excellency the Minister, stressing the university's keenness to integrate the role of scientific research at the university with applied practices in a way that helps achieve economic development in society.

Prof. Dr. Hayam Wahba, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, explained that the subject of the thesis comes in the context of the research plan adopted by the college and its link to the performance development of the various organizations and ministries, in light of the research plan approved by the university’s graduate studies sector led by Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs.

Her Excellency also indicated that the thesis discussed the relationship between the application of total quality practices and their impact on improving the financial performance of investment sports clubs in Egypt, where the judging and discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadri, Professor of Business Administration and Dean of the College, Chairman of the Discussion Committee, Prof. Dr. Nader Al-Bair Professor and Head of the Department of Business Administration Supervising Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, member from abroad.
