While the symposium presented by Mr. Mohammad El-Safty, one of the business sector men, contained that neither a product, a service, a project, nor an initiative can succeed and be applied in practice without being bought, endorsed or supported by the target category which is known as Marketing. Although, the focus on the marketing skills is mostly in the ordinary marketing jobs such as advertising, sales, public relations and trade mark administration, these skills are greatly appreciated and paid attention by employers in all functional sectors.
He reviewed the most important marketing skills that help in improving one’s career in addition to the most important pieces of advice and ways that help in developing these skills. He mentioned that the promotion for any product, service or idea through several marketing skills and the different personal traits of analyzing the public on the top and identify their expectations about the product or the idea; then, identifying the aspects and qualities of the product that make it attractive for the public; afterwards, presenting the idea or the product through an attractive way that encourages others to buy the product or adopt the idea.
Here, it is a must to point out that marketing is not limited to products and ideas. One can also market for one’s self to employers and companies’ owners to obtain the job that suits one’s ambitions or to gain the support that one needs to achieve projects.
