Ain Shams University Hospitals: We vaccinated 13,000 employees and are targeting 100,000 others

Dr. Samia Abdo, Vice President of Ain Shams University Hospitals, confirmed that the university hospitals started the vaccination campaign against Corona since February of this year. She added that workers in isolation hospitals, workers in hot places from emergency, intensive care, hospital workers in general, the elderly and faculty members were vaccinated, and we started with students.

Prof. Dr. Samia Abdo, added, during an intervention via the “Zoom” application, on the “From Egypt” program, presented by the media Amr Khalil via the “cbc” channel, that the number of vaccinated people in Ain Shams University hospitals reached 13,000 people between the first and second dose, and she continued, “100,000 people from the new students who will come and then other educational stages” will be targeted for vaccination as well.

Dr. Samia pointed out that universities have a timetable for the process of vaccinating all students, noting that the Ministry of Health provides hospitals with vaccinations on a regular basis.
