An inspection tour of the Vice President of Ain Shams University in the Faculties of Science and Computers

Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, toured the examination committees in both the Faculties of Science, Computers and Information at the university to check on the progress of work and ensure that all necessary precautionary and preventive measures are adhered to.

The tour began with a visit to the Faculty of Science, where he accompanied Prof. Saud during which Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ragaa Al-Satouhi, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Ashraf Baghdadi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Amani Suleiman, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Fawzia Abdel Wahab, acting secretary of the Faculty

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saud during his inspection tour that the precautionary measures during the first semester exam season are unprecedented, pointing out that the examinations take place in 4 periods from nine in the morning until eight in the evening to reduce the intensity, and continuous sterilization and disinfection operations are carried out for all halls, stands, corridors, etc., and full commitment is made to wear the muzzle and measure the temperature of all students.

         
   
         

Prof. Muhammad Ragaa Al-Satouh, Dean of the Faculty, explained that the Faculty administration has divided students into two periods to ensure the provision of social distancing, and the administration is also expanding places for students to enter to prevent congestions, indicating that all disinfectants that are used in the Faculty are installed in the central laboratories of the Faculty.

Prof. Ragaa praised the system inside and outside the examination committees, and praised the role played by the Faculty administration to implement the recognized precautionary measures of sterilization and continuous disinfection of all Faculty facilities, especially the places where exams are held, as well as the spacing between students inside the examination committees, and wearing masks in order to preserve the safety of students and members The faculty and staff of the Faculty in light of the Corona pandemic.

Pointing out that the university administration has provided the means of sterilization and disinfection periodically, and made sure of the calm and discipline of the committees, wishing all students success and success.

After that, Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saud went to the Faculty of Computers and Information, and was received by Prof. Dr. Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Hala Musheer, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, where they monitored the progress of the exams and inspected Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed Abdel Wahab's runway and the surrounding stands.

Prof. Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, said that the Faculty administration was keen to take all safety measures for students, members of the control and observers from the faculty members, the assisting body and employees, as the paper registration for students ’attendance was replaced by an electronic QR code, where a QR code was created. For each Faculty student to use it to register students 'attendance for the exams being held from 2/27/2021 to 3/18/2021, as an alternative to circulating attendance sheets between students and the committee's observer to take the students' signature in attendance.

She added that the QR code created for each student has been linked to the student’s committee number, his sitting number, the place of his committee and the dates of each student’s examinations.

The QR code is also linked to the electronic control unit (UMS).
