About the Library

Ain Shams University, through the Central E-Learning Unit affiliated with the Center for the Development of Education Strategies and Research, is making diligent efforts to advance the educational system through digital transformation. One of the university’s most prominent strategic projects is the “Interactive E-Books” initiative. This project aims to create a rich and advanced educational environment by providing interactive educational content that enables a personalized and effective learning experience for students, while empowering faculty members to author and publish high-quality digital content. The project is based on a comprehensive plan that covers technical, training, and legislative aspects, and it has already achieved advanced stages of implementation.

Strategic Objectives of the Project

1. 1- Enhancing the quality of the educational process by providing interactive content that caters to diverse learning styles.

2. 2- Empowering faculty members by equipping them with the necessary tools to creatively author and develop interactive university textbook content.

3. 3- Providing flexibility for students to access the university textbook anytime and from anywhere, across various devices, with the ability to browse the book offline.

4. 4- Standardization by setting technical and academic standards for e-books to ensure quality.

5. 5- Protecting intellectual property rights through awareness of authors' rights and safeguarding academic content.
