Continued Strong Turnout at Ain Shams University’s Electronic Coordination Labs on the Second Day of the First Phase of University Admissions Registration
The Electronic Coordination Labs at Ain Shams University continued to welcome General Secondary Certificate students on the second day of the first phase of university admissions for the 2026/2027 academic year. Operations proceeded smoothly, with comprehensive technical and guidance support provided to students and parents, helping them complete the preference registration process easily and accurately.
This comes in line with the directives of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, who directed that an appropriate environment be provided to ensure high-quality services for students throughout the coordination period.
Specialized work teams were present at the labs from the early hours of operation. They provided technical support to students, assisted them in entering their preferences correctly, and answered all inquiries related to electronic coordination procedures, ensuring that services were completed efficiently and minimizing registration errors.
The coordination labs operate under the supervision of the Education and Student Affairs Sector, through Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector, and the General Administration of Education and Student Affairs, headed by Ms. Reham El-Otiefy, Director General of the Administration. This ensures smooth operations across all labs and the efficient delivery of services.
Ain Shams University’s Electronic Coordination Labs are located at the Faculty of Computers and Information and the Faculty of Arts on the university’s Abbassia campus, the Faculty of Engineering in Abdo Pasha, the Faculty of Agriculture in Shubra El-Kheima, and the Faculty of Women in Heliopolis. Dedicated labs are also available to serve students with disabilities at the Faculty of Arts (Vision Center) and the Faculty of Computers and Information (Geneidy Building), ensuring that the service is accessible to all students without exception.
The labs continue to receive students during official working days and hours, providing free preference registration and technical support services from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. throughout the first phase of electronic coordination, which runs from Wednesday, August 5, 2026, through Sunday, August 9, 2026, in accordance with the schedule announced by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
