Announcement of the Extension of the Submission Deadline for Research Project Proposals
Ain Shams University, represented by the Graduate Studies and Research Sector, has announced a one-week extension of the submission deadline for the 2026/2027 Research Project Funding Call, providing additional time for faculty members and researchers to complete and submit their research proposals.
Accordingly, the new submission deadline is Tuesday, July 21, 2026, with applications accepted by 12:00 noon on that day, instead of the previous deadline of Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Applicants are required to comply with all previously announced eligibility criteria, regulations, and application forms.
The University encourages all eligible researchers to finalize their submissions within the extended period, noting that proposals received after the deadline will not be considered.
The announcement comes under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abideen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research. It reflects the University's ongoing commitment to providing financial and institutional support for advancing its research ecosystem, in accordance with the University Council's resolution of March 28, 2022, approving the regulations governing research project funding for faculty members and teaching assistants.
The call invites experts from Ain Shams University to submit proposals for ASU-Supported Research Projects. Each proposal must involve researchers from one or more faculties of the University and should be submitted electronically through the University's online portal:
