Ain Shams University's "Fan Zone" Brings Thousands of Students Together to Support the National Team in the 2026 World Cup
As part of Ain Shams University's commitment to supporting student activities and fostering a sense of national pride, the Faculty of Business, in collaboration with the Students for Egypt family, organized an event titled "Ain Shams University Fan Zone at the Faculty of Business Sports Grounds." The event featured a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere, reflecting the students' engagement with the global event and their enthusiasm for watching the Egyptian national team's match in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The event was held under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Rami Maher, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Farid Moharram, Dean of the Faculty of Business. It was coordinated and supervised by Professor Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Samar Ragab, General Coordinator of the Students for Egypt family.
The event coincided with the Egyptian national team's match against Australia in the tournament. The Ain Shams University Fan Zone witnessed a large turnout of students who flocked to support the national team in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and engagement, affirming their full support for the Pharaohs in their World Cup journey.

The Fan Zone at the Faculty of Business's sports fields transformed into a massive public viewing area, where students watched the match on large screens, waving Egyptian flags and chanting patriotic slogans. This scene reflected a spirit of belonging and pride in the national team and exemplified the university's role in fostering national awareness and promoting positive student participation.
Prof. Farid Muharram, Dean of the Faculty of Business, confirmed the organizing committee’s commitment to implementing the necessary organizational procedures to ensure the event was conducted properly. Attendance was limited to pre-registered Ain Shams University students, who obtained electronic entry permits (QR Code) sent to participants. University ID cards or national ID cards were verified upon entry, and no one from outside the university was allowed to enter.
He added that student activities at the Faculty of Business, in cooperation with the Education and Student Affairs sector and the Students for Egypt family, reflect a commitment to supporting national initiatives and enhancing student participation in events that unite them around a common goal. He pointed out that the "Fan Zone" at the Faculty of Business's sports fields offers a unique and encouraging experience that combines organization, interaction, and a patriotic atmosphere, reflecting Ain Shams University's commitment to providing a comprehensive university environment that supports student activities and reinforces values of belonging and loyalty to the nation.
