As part of Ain Shams University’s commitment to enhancing national and community awareness among its students, and in affirmation of its role in supporting national issues and building a conscious student personality capable of facing contemporary challenges, and in the presence of the President of Ain Shams University, a delegation from the Students for Egypt family at Ain Shams University participated in the scientific seminar entitled “Strengthening National Identity in Light of Modern Technologies and the Requirements of National Security,” which was organized by the Police Academy at the headquarters of the Center for Security and Strategic Studies.

The event was held under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and with the coordination and administrative supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs.

The seminar addressed several themes related to strengthening national identity in light of modern technological developments, the role of digital technologies in shaping public awareness, and the importance of religious and moral values ​​in preserving and consolidating national identity. It also reviewed the efforts of the Ministry of Interior in combating rumors and information warfare, and its role in protecting national identity and enhancing community security.

The seminar also discussed the importance of countering rumors and fourth- and fifth-generation warfare, the concept of national security and its various dimensions, and the role of state institutions in maintaining the nation's security and stability. Emphasis was placed on the importance of instilling values ​​of belonging, citizenship, and national responsibility in young people, and empowering them to deal consciously with contemporary challenges and changes, thus contributing to supporting the stability of the Egyptian state and preserving its resources.

This participation comes within the framework of fruitful cooperation between Ain Shams University and various state institutions, and the university's commitment to providing its students with opportunities to participate in awareness-raising events and activities that contribute to developing their knowledge and strengthening their national and societal role.

The participation falls within the activities plan implemented by the Education and Students Sector, represented by the Students for Egypt Family, under the leadership of Dr. Samar Ragab, the general leader of the Students for Egypt Family, and in cooperation with the General Administration for Youth Welfare - Department of Families and Student Unions.

At the conclusion of the seminar, the students took commemorative photos with the university president and expressed their gratitude to him, Ain Shams University, and the "Students for Egypt" family for their ongoing support and commitment to providing opportunities that contribute to developing students' awareness and refining their skills. They also thanked the Police Academy for organizing this valuable event and for the warm welcome and excellent organization. The students emphasized that their participation enhanced their understanding of national security issues in light of rapid technological advancements, reinforced their sense of national identity, strengthened their sense of belonging and national responsibility, and highlighted the pivotal role of youth in supporting the state's efforts to maintain national security and stability and confront contemporary challenges.
