The Career Center in cooperation with the Faculty of Girls for Arts, Science and Education, Launches the Women Empowerment Program Activities in Collaboration with G100 to Inspire the Ambitions of Female Students

The theater of the Faculty of Girls for Arts, Science and Education at Ain Shams University witnessed the launch of the first activities of the Global Group of 100 (G100) program, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of the University; Prof. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Heba Barakat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and Acting Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Asmaa Zaazaa, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

The event was coordinated and organized by Prof. Walaa El Nahrawy, Director of the Researchers Youth Welfare Office, and Dr. Amira Essam, the Faculty Coordinator at the University Career Center, in the presence of Ms. Shaimaa Taysir, Head of the Group in Egypt.

         
   
         

The event also included the participation of Ms. Nahla Ragab, a member of the Training Wing at the G100 Organization, and Dr. Doaa Emam, Deputy Director of the University Career Center.

Prof. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty, inaugurated the ceremony with a welcoming speech in which she expressed the faculty’s pride in hosting an international organization the size of G100. In her speech, she affirmed that the faculty always seeks to open new horizons for its female students and researchers through partnerships that support leadership and professional skills, noting that this cooperation represents a bridge between academic education and practical empowerment.

For her part, Ms. Shaimaa Taysir, Head of the G100 Group in Egypt, delivered a comprehensive introductory presentation about the organization and its ambitious goals. She explained how the group works across its one hundred sectors to provide a supportive environment for women globally, clarifying that launching the program within the faculty aims to discover and support leadership talents among Egyptian female students.

         
   
         

The ceremony featured a rich panel discussion characterized by transparency and interaction, where an open dialogue took place between the speakers and the attendees, including faculty members who discussed ways of integrating the organization’s initiatives with scientific research, as well as teaching assistants who expressed interest in opportunities for professional and leadership development.

Ms. Nahla affirmed that one of the most prominent goals of the program launched today is to provide specialized workshops for female students on international leadership skills, connect students with the global “G100” network that includes businesswomen and leaders across 100 diverse sectors, and encourage girls to transform their academic projects into successful developmental initiatives.

Prof. Amira Youssef confirmed that the launch of this program today represents a strategic step toward transforming the faculty into a center of influence not only academically, but also developmentally, enabling graduates to compete in the global labor market.

For her part, Ms. Shaimaa Taysir expressed her pride in beginning the actual implementation of the program from the heart of the “Faculty of Girls,” noting that the program will include a series of periodic meetings and initiatives aimed at building the leadership character of Egyptian female students.
