At the opening of the first Al-Ahram Conference for the pharmaceutical industry, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini: The pharmaceutical industry is a national security for Egypt
Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, said that we should restore the pharmaceutical industry to what it was before, with ideas and decisions that guarantee the return of that industry to its position, pointing out that there are many real challenges facing the pharmaceutical industry in Egypt. He pointed out that the drug industry is a national security for Egypt.
He added that the gathering today is united to create a vision and a strong industrial community and continuous, so we must create a good atmosphere for private multinational companies in order to attract more investments, pointing out that Egypt needs biological medicines, antibiotics and targeted drugs, he added that the conference includes 8 sessions, 50 Speaking.
This came during his speech at the opening of the first Al-Ahram conference for the pharmaceutical industry entitled "Challenges of the pharmaceutical industry, which is organized by the Al-Ahram Foundation under the auspices of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister and headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Sengab, Vice President of the Conference and Vice President of Ain Shams University for Graduate Studies and Research.
The establishment of the first specialized conference in the field of pharmaceutical industries in Egypt, bringing together the parties of the system, whether by the state or manufacturers, as well as bringing together local Egyptian companies and international companies, to provide a climate that contributes to finding conclusive solutions emerged in the form of recommendations and results of the conference.
The conference will discuss the pharmaceutical industry as one of the pillars of the Egyptian national security. Importing raw materials and taxes, in order to achieve the biggest goal is to achieve the difficult equation, which is to ensure the availability of medicine in the Egyptian market of the highest quality and affordable prices for patients, in addition to increasing opportunities to export medicine to international markets, and provide Ed effective for the pharmaceutical industry locally and exported abroad.
