The Scholarships Welfare Office announces the opening of applications for Sawiris funded scholarships to study bachelor's and master's studies in the United States of America for the year 2023. The available scholarships include scholarships for bachelor's and master's programs. Selection is made based on academic degrees, outside activities, leadership character, and acceptance into one of the highly ranked American universities such as Harvard, Stanford, Chicago, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The scholarships cover study in specific fields. The support includes full tuition fees, airline tickets, living expenses, a laptop, book expenses, health insurance, and other benefits.

Qualifying criteria:

The applicant must have achieved 90% in high school or a GPA of 3.5 (for a bachelor’s), very good or a GPA: 3.5 in a bachelor’s degree (for a master’s).

TOEFL iBT score of 100, ACT:32, or SAT: 1450 (Bachelor's) / TOEFL iBT score of 100, MBA-GMAT: 650, or New GRE: overall: 315 (Analytical Writing: 4.5) (Master's).

It is planned to start the study in the United States in 2023.

The applicant shall have Egyptian national and residing in Egypt.

The applicant shall not live for more than three years outside the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The applicant shall return to Egypt for at least two years after obtaining the scientific degree from abroad
