The activities of the Cairo International Book Fair in its 55th session witnessed the active participation of faculty members from Ain Shams University, as they presented a group of diverse books that reflect diversity and academic excellence. Within the framework of encouragement from the university administration, headed by Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein Al-Abedeen and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the active participation of faculty staff at Ain Shams Education comes from many of its departments within the framework of support from the faculty administration through Prof. Safaa Shehata, Acting Dean of the Faculty, following up with Prof. Alaa El-Din Abdel Halim Mohamed Farag, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

Many faculty members from the Faculty of Education were able to participate effectively in the 55th session of the Cairo International Book Fair by publishing more than 40 books. The works presented by the faculty members focused on various fields that meet the interests and needs of readers and achieve the university’s mission of serving society in various cultural and social aspects.

Writings in the field of history were presented that shed light on important time periods and in-depth analyzes of historical events. In the field of literature, the books shine with literary spirit and linguistic creativity, which makes them worthy of attention and acquisition.

Writings were presented in the field of literary criticism, and another group of writings dealt with important social and cultural issues. Some of the writings also derived their inspiration from the aesthetics of poetry and artistic expression.

The Faculty involvement in the areas of family and social relations has also expanded, and emphasis has been placed on issues of education and social development.
