Election of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Society for International Law

On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, the Egyptian Society for International Law held its elections, in the presence of the members of the Society, to choose its board of directors, the elections, the results of which were announced yesterday, resulted in the victory of eleven candidates out of nineteen candidates who applied for membership in the Board of Directors. It is expected that the members of the Board of Directors will elect a president for the association in the coming days.

It is worth noting that the Egyptian Society for International Law was established in 1945 AD, and it is chaired by Prof. Dr. Mufid Shehab, Professor of Public International Law at the Faculty of Law, Cairo University and former Minister of Legal Affairs and Parliamentary Councils. The Society is interested in all fields of research in the fields of public international law and international organizations, since its inception, it has contributed to opinion and research in various international issues of concern to the Egyptian state. It publishes a prestigious scientific journal, the Egyptian Journal of International Law.
