The Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research welcomes the new academic year with a lecture on the carbon footprint

The activities of the new academic year were launched at the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research at Ain Shams University, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Ghada Qarouk, Acting Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, stated that Prof. Dr. Noha Samir Donia, Dean of the Faculty.

She added that the study schedules were prepared and the date of an introductory lecture for new students was set on Wednesday, the fifth of this month, on the Shams Bee Green project, carbon footprint, and climate change so that students apply the methodology of reducing carbon emissions and help reduce climate change and realize the extent of its effects, in addition to a lecture on the occasion of 6th of October Memorial for Students on Sunday 9th October.

The personal interviews and entrance tests were completed, and the eligible students were selected for each section according to specific criteria.

Prof. Dr. Noha Samir Donia added that the website has been updated in preparation for hybrid education, updating curricula, and integrating climate change into this year's curricula.
