A celebration to welcome new students at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences at Ain Shams University

Under the auspices of Prof‎. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Najwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences‎, the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences‎ at Ain Shams University, organized a celebration to receive new students, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, and Prof. Dr. Hala Mosheer, Vice Dean of Education and Student Affairs.‎

Prof‎. Dr. Najwa Badr in her speech welcomed the new students, expressing her happiness at the students’ interest in joining the faculty because they represent the new beginning of the faculty ‎ every year, noting that society is now witnessing a great leap in digital transformation and that graduates of the Faculty of Computer Sciences at Ain Shams University are very welcome in the labor market.

Prof‎. Dr. Najwa Badr expressed her pride in the Faculty of Computer Sciences ‎ at Ain Shams University, which is one of the oldest faculties at the level of computer faculties in the Republic, the faculty ‎ achieved a distinguished position in the scientific and research community, and these efforts culminated in the faculty ‎ obtaining the Government Excellence Award and obtaining a certificate of quality and accreditation.

Prof. Dr. Hala Moshira, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, reviewed the various activities provided by the faculty ‎in addition to academic studies, as well as employment forums and various training opportunities, in addition to participating in various competitions locally, regionally and internationally.

She called on students to abide by the faculty‎'s regulations and encouraged them to participate in various cultural and sports activities at the university.
