Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, approved the results of the second part of the missions' plan 2021-2022 (the fifth year) of the eighth five-year plan 2017-2022 on 9/13-2022, which included the nomination of (9) students from the faculty members and their assistants at the University Ain Shams.

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, the Scholarships Welfare Office at Ain Shams University congratulated the faculty members and their assistants nominated for these scholarships.

These missions dealt with different scientific topics and specializations, and among the different axes of the missions to which the faculty members and their assistants are nominated are medical and health sciences, organ transplantation, oral and dental surgery, tissue engineering, development and localization of water desalination techniques, social sciences, humanities and arts (languages).

The Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Science, and the Faculty of Al-Alsun received 2 scholarships for each faculty, then the Faculty of Dentistry, the Faculty of Pharmacy, and the Faculty of Education received one scholarship for each Faculty.

These scholarships include the most prestigious universities, colleges and research institutes in 6 countries, led by the United States of America (3 scholarships), the United Kingdom (2 scholarships), Belgium (1 scholarship), Germany (1 scholarship), Japan (1 scholarship), and Tanzania (1 scholarship). ).

These scholarships varied between master's studies (1 scholarship), doctoral studies (7 scholarships), and scientific missions (1 scholarship).

Among the candidates for these scholarships was a faculty staff in the Department of African Language (Swahili Language Division) to study in an African country as one of the first recipients of scholarships for doctoral studies since the opening of the scientific department at the Faculty of Al-Alsun.
