Ain Shams University presents successful research models in major international universities and institutes

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, the Scholarships Sponsorship Office at Ain Shams University organizes monthly meetings with faculty members and the supporting staff delegates to major universities around the world, within the framework of the university’s keenness in continuous communication with its envoys and its belief in their effective role in creating a stimulating and productive academic and research work environment that includes cooperation between Ain Shams University and other universities around the world.

In this context, met with Dr. Abdullah Sami, General Supervisor of the Scholarships Welfare Office at the university, with Dr. Ahmed Wajdi El-Desouky, Assistant Lecturer, Department of Design and Production Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, who is currently on scholarship at the University of Oulu, Finland, to shed light on his doctoral mission to study in the field of “Design and characterization of high-entropy alloys for advanced applications” by joining the Future Manufacturing Technologies (FMT) group at the Institute Kirtu Salsti, University of Oulu, Finland.

Ahmed Wagdy stressed the importance of traveling on scientific missions to gain new and innovative ideas and visions that benefit Ain Shams University and the Egyptian state as a whole through the return of fellow delegates with all that is new and developed to serve their various scientific disciplines within the university.

He also spoke about his research at the University of Oulu, Finland, and praised the role of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Matini, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ayman Saleh, and Ain Shams University in opening channels of direct communication with envoys abroad and informing them permanently and continuously on all the latest developments in the university in terms of development, modernization and international cooperation that ensures the provision of a stimulating environment to return and conduct distinguished scientific research worthy of Ain Shams University.

These meetings come within a series of successive meetings aimed at the importance of scientific missions and their role in achieving the vision of Ain Shams University, which aligns with the vision of the Egyptian state in the effective contribution and participation in building a strong national economy based on knowledge and achieving the principles of comprehensive sustainable development.
