Eleven credit-hour programs at the Faculty of Engineering
Ain Shams University offers a package of new distinguished programs in various fields and disciplines (medical programs - engineering programs and information technology - commercial programs - language and translation programs - scientific programs .... etc.) that keep pace with international standards and requirements of the local, regional and international labor market.
These programs are characterized by providing high-quality education in atypical disciplines and a modern study system to target a distinguished graduate. These programs represent a model in education that mainly follows the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, and serves as the nucleus of a unique model for developing the educational process and financial resources in universities.
The university is also keen to provide all the necessary capabilities for the preparations related to the development of the college infrastructure and the opening of new halls equipped with the latest global digital technologies in order to receive the new batches of high school students and equivalent certificates. These new specializations in the distinguished programs provide students with a unique educational experience that combines academic content, training and application In addition to obtaining two or more certificates, one from Ain Shams University, and the other from foreign international universities in a number of specializations. These programs are also offered in halls equipped with the latest technology. These programs also provide the opportunity to integrate more than one specialization in the field that the student receives. In addition, it depends more on the practical than the theoretical side.
The student wishing to enroll in these programs must pass the admission tests required for some programs or obtain specific grades in the subjects eligible to join those programs, due to the high demand for university programs in order to ensure the quality of its outputs in line with the labor market.
The university pursues scientific marketing plans for its scientific and educational programs and services in the Arab Gulf states and Africa in accordance with the Egyptian state’s vision and strategy 2030 and the strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education towards targeting the internationalization of higher education to attract the targeted Egyptian students and expatriates, which positively affects the state’s development plans
Where the Faculty of Engineering offers 11 credit hour programs from international universities with a strategic partnership, where the international credit hour programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University grant the dual degree with all its offered programs, from the University of East London in England, and there are partnerships with Clausthal University in Germany and the University of Regocalabria, Italy.
These credit-hour programs include: building and construction engineering, materials engineering, energy and renewable energy, communications systems engineering, manufacturing engineering, in addition to the site coordination program in architecture and urban planning, the computer and software systems engineering program, the mechatronics engineering program, in addition to the architecture program. Environmental Urbanism, the Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Program, and the Housing and Urban Development Program.
Proceeding from the university’s societal responsibility towards society, it supervises the implementation of programs and protocols of joint cooperation between the university and between external agencies and institutions, according to which scholarships are offered to outstanding high school students according to specific conditions and criteria for accepting those scholarships and other conditions to ensure their continued enjoyment of retaining these scholarships at the university in order to advance the process Educational include the outstanding students of the university’s faculties and raising the scientific level of the Egyptian student through cultural and knowledge exchange programs with donors, including, but not limited to, supervising the implementation of protocols with (AMIDEAST – the Egyptian Refining Company – AUC & USAID) in the various university faculties, and those grants are Renewed annually and another to be cooperated on for several years to come, and this cooperation contributes to achieving the 2030 sustainable development goals in Egypt by instilling the pillars of knowledge, innovation and scientific research, economic development, social and environmental responsibility in the basic infrastructure of university studies, and the vision of cooperation agreements is Creating a cadre of individuals capable of change Those who are influential in its creation and have the ability to find solutions to problems and who respect and support societal values with the ability to offer solutions to development challenges in Egypt. Grants also target at least 10% of students with special needs to receive them in order to contribute to supporting diversity and the growth of our collective future.
In addition to the outstanding higher education in some of the scholarships offered, these students will receive English language training, entrepreneurship training, career counseling, study for one semester or summer abroad in the United States of America, access to employment services, training For mechanisms to bring about comprehensive development of personality and skills in order to build a generation of change agents and leaders of development and innovation in Egypt in the future, and these scholarships are considered as a container for education that is available to students and thus achieve more economic sustainability, social inclusion, and environmental justice in Egypt by 2030 for more of excellence and innovation.
