Believing in the community role of Ain Shams University to raise awareness of people with special needs and their rehabilitation, the Center for the Care of People with Special Needs at the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood at the university is organizing a workshop entitled (Application of collective cognitive-behavioral therapy for children and their families to treat depression in children) parents their and children both for therapy group behavioral — cognitive Providing) (disorder depressive major of treatment), under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Howayda El-Gebali, Dean of the Graduate School of Childhood Studies, Prof. Dr. Randa Kamal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Kahki, director of the Center for Special Needs Care, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Manal Omar, Head of the Psychiatry Unit at the Center for People with Special Needs.

The workshop will be held on Sunday and Monday, 26/27 July 2022, from ten in the morning until three in the afternoon.

Dr. Nermen Nabil, a psychiatrist at the center, lectures at the workshop. The workshop includes practical training on cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques with session simulations. The workshop also includes a theoretical part and practical exercises, and the student must commit to attending the practical and theoretical part to obtain the certificate.
