Ain Shams University's annual Iftar party in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education, the Mufti of the Republic and members of the Supreme Council of Universities

On a distinguished Ramadan night, Ain Shams University organized its annual Iftar party in front of the Saffron Palace on the main campus of the university, after the university hosted the meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities, which was held at the Faculty of Science headed by Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in the presence of Dr. Shawki Allam, Mufti of the Republic, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, gentlemen, university presidents, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Latif Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for University Affairs, former university presidents, Prof. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Abed, Prof. Dr. Saleh Hashem, and the Vice Presidents of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Taya Abdul Latif, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for student activities, Major General Ahmed Lashin, Secretary General of the University, Deans and Vice Deans of faculties and directors of university hospitals.

After the Iftar, the attendees prayed Maghrib prayer rituals at the University Mosque, which was recently opened and is considered an architectural masterpiece.
