On the food safety law and changing the culture of food circulation, the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, held the "National Conference for Food and Beverage Safety in Egypt", under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Galal, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, conference rapporteur and Prof. Dr. Aliyah Al-Gharabli, Head of the Food Science Department and Conference Coordinator.

The themes of the conference revolve around the Food Safety Law, changing the culture of food circulation, export and import control, the method of food control based on risk analysis and the factors that help access to safe food, as well as the role of hospitals and institutions in the nutritional treatment of genetic patients and the requirements of food establishment operators.
