The role of hybrid education in learning the Chinese language at Confucius round table

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, the Confucius Institute at the university organized a round table on “Hybrid Education in Light of the Corona Epidemic Crisis,” this was stated by the Professor of Chinese Language at Faculty of Al-Alsun and Director of Confucius at Ain Shams University

She explained that the round table dealt with the importance of hybrid education in light of the Corona epidemic crisis and how to develop methods of teaching the Chinese language in light of the imperative of hybrid education, and the attendees discussed the advantages and disadvantages of distance education, especially in the field of Chinese language education, and ways to develop Chinese language teaching methods via the Internet were discussed, The experts also exchanged views on the best applications used in distance learning.

The round table was held with the participation of 59 international experts from Egypt, China, and Kazakhstan, and in the presence of Chinese professors at the Confucius Institute, the Chinese Language Department at Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, oriental languages professors at Al-Farabi University in Kazakhstan, the Chinese Language Faculty at the Kazakhstan Language Academy, and Chinese language professors at Guanwai University for Foreign Studies.

Prof. Dr. Esraa Abdel-Sayed said that this gathering is the largest in the field of learning the Chinese language from a distance, pointing out that this round table is the first cooperation with experts from the State of Kazakhstan, and I hope that the meeting will result in more cooperation between the two countries in the field of Chinese language studies and other fields.
