Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, received Professor Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, in a visit aimed at exploring avenues for integration and developing scientific and research partnerships between the two prestigious universities.

During the meeting, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen emphasized Ain Shams University's strategy of engaging with leading Egyptian universities, stressing that the exchange of expertise in postgraduate studies and modern educational programs is a fundamental pillar for advancing the higher education system and keeping pace with the demands of the global labor market.

For his part, Dr. Sherif Khater praised the prestigious academic standing of Ain Shams University, expressing his hope that this visit would lead to new horizons of fruitful cooperation.

The university president then accompanied his distinguished guest on a tour of the new credit-hour programs building, showcasing the latest educational equipment, advanced infrastructure, lecture halls, and classrooms, reflecting the technological and infrastructural advancements taking place at the university’s Faculty of Law.

The President of Mansoura University expressed his deep admiration for the level of modernization and development, considering it a model to be emulated in implementing the latest academic systems.

On the sidelines of the visit, the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Yassin El-Shazly, Dean of the Faculty, held a discussion and evaluation committee for the doctoral dissertation submitted by researcher Salah El-Din Mahmoud Ali, entitled: “Constitutional and Judicial Protection of the Right to Knowledge and Information Dissemination: A Comparative Study.”

With the participation of Dr. Sherif Khater as a member of the discussion committee, chaired by Prof. Mohamed Ramzy El-Shaer (former President of Zagazig University), and including Prof. Mohamed Saeed Amin and Prof. Mona Ramadan Bateekh, the committee concluded its academic decision by awarding the researcher a doctoral degree with the grade of “Excellent,” in a scholarly atmosphere reflecting the leading role of the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University.
