- Head of the 13th World Congress of Psychiatry in Cairo from 10-15 September 2005.

- Established a school of biological psychiatry in Egypt.

- Introducing the concept of mental patient as a human being has rights.

- All mental diseases, according to the Egyptian Arab culture.

- Advisor to the Scientific Committee of the Supreme Council for Addiction and member of the board of the Fund addiction.
