Aromatic Oils Exhibition 2025 at the Faculty of Pharmacy
Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized the 12th Aromatic Oils Exhibition 2025, one of its distinguished scientific and research events, featuring international participation for the first time.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Prof. Ghada Farouk, accompanied by Prof. Rehab Osman, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Rola Melad, Vice Dean; Prof. Abdel Nasser Sengab, Head of the Pharmaceutical Studies Sector Committee; Prof. Omaima El-Dahshan, Professor and Head of the Pharmacognosy Department and founder and supervisor of the exhibition; and Prof. Khaled Abu Zeid, alongside several professors from Egyptian universities.

The event included the annual exhibition, the 4th International Scientific Forum, four specialized workshops, and the discussion and recognition of the best scientific research in the field of aromatic oils.
The exhibition witnessed the participation of nine Egyptian universities, along with international participation for the first time from Dubai Medical University. Students presented and discussed 24 projects during the exhibition.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, the 4th International Scientific Forum was held, attended by a distinguished group of scientists and experts, including Prof. Abdel Nasser Sengab, Prof. Rola Melad, Prof. Ali El-Shamy, Prof. Maher El-Demiaty, Prof. Azza El-Shafie, Prof. Khaled Abu Zeid, Prof. Omaima Samour, Prof. Mahmoud Abdel-Meguid, Prof. Essam Abdel Sattar, Prof. Safaa El-Maghazi, Prof. Nasser Saad, Prof. Sara Deif, along with other professors, researchers, students, and representatives of pharmaceutical companies.

The forum featured presentations of the latest research in aromatic oils, with speakers from Sudan, Taiwan, and Egypt.
The top five research projects were honored as part of the Best Research in Aromatic Oils Award, established by Prof. Omaima El-Dahshan in 2023, with a prize of 50,000 EGP per research project, sponsored by Dr. Al-Saeed Kamel and Dr. Noha Abdel Shakour (Utopia Academy). The ceremony also recognized the participating speakers, winning students, organizers, and participating pharmaceutical companies.
