The scientific journal “Annals of Agricultural Sciences”, published by the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, has been ranked (Q1) for the seventh consecutive year in both the 2024 SJR scale of Scimago Journal & Country Rank from the Scopus database, where the journal’s SJR reached 0.620, while the journal’s CiteScore index reached 8 (for the 2024 Scopus/Elsevier indices) and the journal’s H-Index reached 55 until 2024.
This came under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Amani Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Walaa Abdel Ghani, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and under the supervision of Prof. Ali Abdel Aziz, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal, and Prof. Hani Samir Othman, Deputy Editor-in-Chief. The Journal was founded in 1956 and continues to be published regularly without interruption, reflecting its continuity, academic quality, and distinguished international character.
The journal covers a wide range of vital agricultural disciplines, including crop, animal, food, horticultural, plant, and soil sciences, making it a reliable scientific platform for publishing high-quality academic research and a reliable source of academic promotion locally and internationally, thus enhancing its global standing and influence.
